BIG GAME 2010 Thank You! - 05-19-10

Thank you to everyone that made this BIG GAME weekend one of our best yet!

    With record attendance and great battles on both days, this was a BIG GAME to remember.

    Final Score: Blue Team 6856, Red Team 5053

   Thank you to our reffing staff, you guys did a GREAT job! Led by Paul Sherman, celebrating his 25th Big Game Long Island, the refs worked hard for 2 long 12 hour days, some longer! (D-roc). Congrats to Julio Rivera and his first Big Game as field manager, you did a amazing job!
    Thanks to Jesse, for handling all of the fills issues on the Cousins side. Big thanks for Larry and Kenn from Quickshot for helping keep everyones tanks full all day.
    Thanks to all the vendors that came to Big Game and those that couldn't make it but supplied us with prizes for our traditional the Great Prize Giveaway. Special thanks go out to Kevin and Billy and the guys from KEE, we appreciate the support this weekend and the paint looked and shot amazing. Also a special thanks to Eric and Jay and the rest of the Tippmann guys for coming out and helping make Big Game a success, thanks for the loaner Phenoms for both the helicopter and for the G4 crew. Thanks to Glenn Hasting for coming out and demoing the new game, the kids loved it!
    Thanks to Dave Rotunda, who did a great job with the tent this year, getting creative with grid wall and teching everything that passed your way.
    Thanks to all the teams that came out to represent including Wild Geese, Undertakers, Highland Skulls, Assassins, Berserkers, Gotkills, Blues Crew, Top Gun Knights, Shadow, Canadian Contingent, NY Dogs (great to see you guys playing in the woods again), Diaper Snipers, Ball Busters, Section 8 and many more. Team Shake and Bake I thought the swords were great but we had to address the complaints of the other players, once we came to an agreement that you guys would be more pronounced in your swordsmanship we had no more complaints and personally I am impressed that you had the balls to play using just a sword.
    A Big Thank You also goes out to our Generals. Chris Lasoya, hope your leg is OK. You did a great job of leading your Blue team to victory. Rob Navas who never fails to impress! From your sportsmanship in accepting your defeat at the hands of the Blue team, to your walking away from what could have been a bad situation. Thanks again to both of you for your leadership this year.
    Thanks to the crew from G4 for coming out and filming at Big Game, we just wish we could have seen more of your girl Sara Underwood. We look forward to watching the episode next month.
    Thanks to Doc and the pilot for keeping everyone on their toes with your attacks from above.
    Thanks to George and TJ and their tank crews for romping around the woods wreaking havoc.
